Thescelosaurus, a plant-eating dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous, is known for its strong limbs, sturdy build, and reputation as one of the last non-avian dinosaurs to roam North America. Though its fossils are rare, Fossil Crates proudly offers three exceptional skeleton casts, each representing a different stage of this fascinating dinosaur’s life.
Juvenile Thescelosaurus (1.8 meters / 6 feet)
This remarkably preserved young specimen features one of the best Thescelosaurus skulls ever discovered, making it a scientifically valuable and visually striking addition to any exhibit. It shows off the variable dentition, with sharp teeth up front and plant-eating teeth in the back.
Skull: 8.75" long x 3.5" wide x 4.75" tall and comes on a small stand.
Standard Adult (3.25 meters / 10' 8")
Our classic adult skeleton showcases the full proportions of a mature Thescelosaurus, ideal for educational environments and fossil halls wanting to represent the species’ typical adult form.
Exceptional Large Adult (4.27 meters / 14 feet)
This much larger-than-average individual boasts an extraordinary level of preservation, including the entire costal rib assembly and inter-rib cartilage, a rare feature that has been faithfully reproduced in the cast for maximum anatomical accuracy.
Whether displayed individually or as a growth series, these skeleton casts offer a unique window into the biology and evolution of one of the lesser known, but increasingly important, members of the Cretaceous ecosystem.
