Rare Beasts Crate
Rare Beasts Crate
Not all dinosaurs are known from lots of skeletons, in fact most are known from just a few bones. Here are some of the rarer dinosaurs in the Fossil Crates library.
Shaochilong – This rare Mongolian theropod is known from a partial skeleton.
Alioramus – The "Pinocchio Tyrannosaur" is a long-snouted tyrannosaurid that is known from two skeletons now.
Rebbachisaurus – Known from a few localities, this rare sauropod has pencil-shaped teeth similar to the much more commonly known Apatosaurus and Diplodocus.
Utahraptor - Despite being ultra-popular, it is known from almost no articulated material. This hand claw, the first recognized for Utahraptor, was only identified in the 2000s!
