Megalosaurus, the Jurassic apex predator of England, was the first dinosaur named. In fact, it was named before the word dinosaur even existed! It was initially thought to be a 70' giant lizard!
This jaw is a sculpt of one of the most important dinosaur fossils ever discovered. This awesome Megalosaurus jaw, with a huge tooth jutting forth, introduced scientists to the presence of gigantic reptiles that were no longer living.
10" long and 3" tall, the dentary (lower jaw) has one fully erupted 2" tooth and 4 teeth just beginning to emerge.
We have an extremely limited supply of this historic dinosaur.
Megalosaurus ships in a wooden or standard crate.
