Torosaurus means "perforated lizard". It possessed the largest dinosaur skull at nearly 9' long! It lived right up to the end of the dinosaurs.
This 1/13th Scaled Skull is scientifically accurate as it was scanned from an original skull. However, this one fits on your desk!
Torosaurus was at one time thought by some paleontologists to be a large male Triceratops. Though that has been shown to be not true, we include a Triceratops tooth cast as their teeth are all but indistinguishable from each other.
The Fossil Crates offering comes with:
- Torosaurus Scaled Skull (1/13th scale): 6 1/2" long, 5 3/4" wide, 6" tall (7" tall on the wooden base)
- Triceratops double-rooted tooth cast
- Exclusive 5" x 7" paleo artwork
- Map of the skull bones
