2022 Chewly Chompionship!

2022 Chewly Chompionship

The Chompionship is back!

Pronounced "Chew lie", the name derives from chewing combatants in the month of July, the Chompionship sees some major changes this season with the inclusion of herbivores for the first time!

Another major change, the reigning, defending, and undefeated Chomp, Tyrannosaurus rex, has retired!  This major development leaves the Chompionship wide open, especially for the 2-time runner up, Spinosaurus.

This season's weight limit was 10 tons with no more than one representative of any family of animals being allowed to compete.  Utahraptor, as the reigning Lightweight Chompion, was automatically invited into the tournament.

The rules are simple: two combatants enter an arena, only one leaves.  The winner is determined by voters on the Fossil Crates Instagram (@FossilCrates) and Facebook pages.  Winners advance to the next round, losers are eliminated from the tournament.
